Glenbernie Orchard - Home of Darkes Cider

An incredible family day out picking apples at this cute farm! Our children absolutely loved being so hands on with the apple picking and enjoyed taking photos with the tractor. Would recommend! We also brought home a case of their own brewed cider. Don’t forget to cross the road and visit Madden Falls too! Gorgeous location and a very easy walk to the lookout (30 mins round trip by foot).

This is such a wonderful experience for the whole family! Our two kids (2 years and 4.5 years) absolutely loved their morning apple picking. The tractor ride was great and the staff were so lovely. The communication from their team was great in the lead up to our booking too, which is rare I have found. There's also a gorgeous little farm shop too with produce from the farm to purchase. I cannot recommend a visit enough!

Had a lovely time here yesterday for the white peach picking. You have to book online & pay for the peaches you pick, at $5 a kilo We managed to haul home 5 kgs worth of peaches!! The picking experience is very popular & all sessions were booked out! Worth the experience & look forward to picking apples next time! We couldn’t resist buying a box of non alcoholic cider to take home with us as well!

We held a corporate offsite day event in July for 50 people at Glenbernie Orchard in Darkes Forest. I worked with the Manager Jo and it was such an enjoyable and well-executed experience. The venue was picturesque and there was also a lovely, relaxed ambiance that set the perfect tone for the day's activities; a refreshing break from the usual office environment and allowed attendees to relax and enjoy the day. Jo and her team were so thoughtful with the setup, she liaised with a local pizza food truck Il NIDO. The pizzas were brilliant and there was catering for a mix of dietary requirements. The convenience of having a food truck on-site made it easy for everyone to enjoy a freshly prepared meal. The outdoor seating arrangement complemented the overall experience. It also ensured we would be going ahead rain or shine (bar a hurricane). Jo also liaised with the external team building activity company which provided archery and laser clay shooting. Glenbernie was the perfect venue for this with its’ huge field. I would definitely recommend Jo and the Glenbernie team for corporate and private events.
